So I was talking to some folks here at work about traveling. A few years back, they went to Australia. At Customs, they were going over the usual checklist. When the Agent asked about felonies, one of the guys said, "I didn't know that was still a requisite."
At that point, he was escorted to one of the side rooms for a more intimate examination of his person.
And this story has been collaborated by two other coworkers, so I don't think it's story inflation.
